Nanotechnology for Drug Delivery

BAOJ Nanotechnology is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that reports original research and review articles, in all areas related to the science and technology of nanosized and nanostructured materials. "Quality is our first priority" hence Bio Accent open access publishers help the scientific community to publish quality articles related to latest developments happening in the areas of science, Technology and Medical. The journal is on proposal to conduct special issue on "Nanotechnology in Drug Delivery".

Nanoparticles hold enormous potential as a compelling drug delivery system. To conquer the issues of gene and drug delivery, nanotechnology has picked up enthusiasm in recent years. Nanosystems with various compositions and biological properties have been broadly explored for drug and gene delivery applications. To reach potent drug delivery it is important to understand the interactions between nanomaterials and biological environment, targeting cell-surface receptors, drug release, multiple drug administration, stability of therapeutic agents and molecular mechanisms of cell signalling involved in pathobiology of the disease. Nanomaterials are successfully formulated in preparing several anti-cancer drugs including paclitaxel, doxorubicin, 5-fluorouracil and dexamethasone.

We would like to suggest you to contribute a Original research and review paper for publication in the Special Issue "Nanotechnology in Drug Delivery". Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Nanocapsules
